From the very beginning of our lives, our existence is centered around leaders. From parents, teachers, and guardians to professional leaders like managers, CEOs, and Presidents, we are guided towards professional and personal excellence by the leaders we are fortunate to follow.

However, we do not admire every leader who comes our way. In fact, we direct our admiration towards those who stand head and shoulders above others in terms of quality, ability, and outlook.

An ideal leader not only motivates but inspires us, encouraging us to find the fire within, honing our skills, and making us self-sufficient professionals. Instead of merely finishing the job and shutting shop, an admired leader seeks and activates the leadership qualities in all of us.

We admire those hands-on leaders who exhibit an undying commitment to their organizations and their people. Such kind and caring figures prioritize the well-being of their employees, subordinates, and colleagues by pushing their abilities and tap into their potential. These leaders set an example of excellence that others aspire to emulate.

Galit Ventura-Rozen, a globally recognized keynote speaker and award-winning entrepreneur, is one such personality who is known for her admired leadership.

Galit’s professional journey exemplifies a tale of quality leadership, one which she has built and strengthened from the ground up whilst overcoming obstacles and challenges with dignity, courage, and determination. Exeleon Magazine looks into the story of this admired leader in its latest Cover Feature.

The Growth Phase

Galit was born in a family that had recently immigrated to America. This meant that she would grow up in a different culture with different religion, and different language. At times, she felt different than the people around her. However, she was always adamant to adapt and learn new things.

Upon entering the real estate space, Galit was quick to realize that it was a male dominated industry. This made her even more determined to set her own path and find her own way. In doing so, she faced hurdles and failures, but she always made sure to learn from them.

Galit points out how grateful she has been to find amazing mentors and leaders along this journey. The learnings from these individuals have enabled her to climb the ladder of success in her career. Today, Galit is hired by corporates and business professionals across the globe to give her insights about how one can get to 7 to 8 figure in their business. Through her speaking and coaching sessions, she guides young and aspiring leaders about the various intricacies of business.

Talking about her journey, Galit shares “Looking back on the journey has been one that is filled with a lot of understanding, lot of growth, a lot of working on myself, and becoming the best leader that I possibly can.”

Helping Women Grow

After spending 25 years in the commercial real estate space and building a successful business, Galit Ventura-Rozen decided to give back; give back the value and experience that she has gained over the course of her journey. Thus, Galit started working with women in private coaching. She mentions, “I realized in my career I didn’t have a lot of mentors or leaders that I could learn from.”

“I feel that the legacy that a successful leader should leave behind is teaching others to have the same amount of success or even more,” she continues.

Moreover, it was important for Galit to go in this direction as only 4.2% of women-owned businesses were reported to be making million dollars or more. “That number should be higher. And there’s no reason why it shouldn’t be.”

Galit mentions that women leadership is more important than ever before. “We are at a time where women have the opportunity in the US to have a voice, to share their experience, to share what is important to them, and to make a difference by being an admired leader that others want to learn from, look up to, and observe.”

Being a women entrepreneur, Galit feels it’s of utmost importance to show other women how to achieve success, support them, and uplift them.

This was the triggering factor that prompted Galit to venture into private coaching and work with young women leaders. She makes sure to showcase these women how combining logical pieces of success and mindset pieces together can make any business attain success.

Observe and Learn

For Galit, becoming a leader has come rather naturally to her since she was a child. But by watching other leaders and learning from them, it has enabled her to broaden her idea and understanding about leadership.

Recalling her childhood days, Galit mentions an instance of being in the high school dance team and seeing the team captain how she wanted to be the captain herself one day. This prompted Galit to take a step back and observe the leaders in school. “Once I observed and learned and felt ready, I was the dance captain my senior year of high school.”

Talking about this art of observing and learning, Galit mentions “I took the time to observe the leaders in my chosen career path and field. I have taken the time to learn from leaders that are public, especially women, and learn from them and understand which characteristics of a leader I want myself to implement in my life.”

Admired Leadership

For Galit, an admired leader is one who effectively listens and understands those that are following them. She mentions that a leader should have sympathy and empathy. Moreover, they should realize that they don’t know everything or have the answer for everything. She also believes an admired leader is one who is approachable and understands the need to give back. Furthermore, someone who recognizes their own strengths and values their time to make the most striking difference.

In order for one to become an admired leader, Galit stresses on the need and importance to look for leaders around themselves. Leaders that one can look up to, follow, listen, and pay attention to.

Moreover, she advices young and aspiring individuals is to do it and take actions. “If you feel like you have the passion and want to be a leader, do it. Step up, be a voice and take initiative because that’s where change happens.”

Taking the conversation on leadership forward, Galit believes that anyone can be a leader. “I believe anyone can be a leader by recognizing they have a gift within themselves. I believe every person has something within themselves that others can connect with. The way that someone can be a leader is they can choose to step up, make it a point to use their voice in a positive way and offer themselves to any type of entity, organization, business, or philanthropy by sharing their ideas for change.”

Commercial Professionals Assurance

At the age of 21, Galit Ventura-Rozen entered the field of residential real estate. Upon realizing her ‘calling’ in the industry and her inclination towards the business aspect of the real estate space, she made sure to grab as much knowledge as possible to make a mark. After gaining two years of experience in the field, Galit was qualified to start her own brokerage. Thus, prompting the launch of Commercial Professionals.

Since its inception, Galit has spearheaded Commercial Professionals to new heights of success. She mentions how client attention has enabled the company to stand out from the crowd. “We look at each client and ask the questions before we even start working with them. What are their goals, short and long term, what do they want to accomplish working with us and how can we be of assistance?”

She continues, “Then we work with them on and off market properties and do our best to bring the seller the right buyer or the buyer the right property that will accomplish as much of what they are wanting to accomplish as possible.”

The process at Commercial Professionals involves client contact, follow-up, thorough due-diligence, and focusing on the end-results for the clients.
