Georgi Dimitrov, CEO and co-founder of Fantasy AI, is part of a new generation of tech leaders focused on building AI that understands people, not just data. With a background that combines data science, design, and entrepreneurship, Georgi believes that the real power of AI lies in helping humans think, create, and connect better.
In this interview with Exeleon Magazine, he talks about how Fantasy AI began, what makes it different, and how he sees the future of AI taking shape.
Q: Georgi, what inspired the idea behind Fantasy AI?
GEORGI DIMITROV: Fantasy AI started with a simple question: what if AI could feel more like a partner than a tool? Most technology is transactional. You type, it answers. But people don’t work that way. We think, explore, and create through collaboration. I wanted to build AI that helps people do that more effectively. That question is what brought our team together.
Q: The AI industry is growing fast. How does Fantasy AI stand out?
GEORGI DIMITROV: For us, it’s all about being useful and trustworthy. A lot of AI companies chase trends, but we focus on how people actually use technology in their everyday lives. Every feature we build starts with one question: will this make someone’s day easier or smarter?
Q: Many people are worried about AI replacing jobs. What’s your take?
GEORGI DIMITROV: I don’t think AI replaces people. It replaces busywork. AI should handle the repetitive parts of the job so humans can focus on creativity, strategy, and emotion — the things that make us unique.
At Fantasy AI, we see AI as a way to make work more meaningful, not less human. The people who succeed will be those who know how to work with AI, not against it.
Q: What’s been the biggest challenge in building Fantasy AI?
GEORGI DIMITROV: Finding the right balance between speed and responsibility. The AI world moves incredibly fast, but rushing leads to mistakes. We’ve learned to take our time, to build products that are transparent, safe, and genuinely helpful. Long-term trust matters more than short-term hype.
Q: Where do you see AI heading next?
GEORGI DIMITROV: I think we’re entering a new phase where AI becomes part of everything we do. It’s not just a chatbot anymore. It will connect across your apps, emails, projects, and even real-world devices. That’s powerful, but it also means we need to design with empathy.
“AI isn’t here to replace human thinking. It’s here to amplify it,” says Georgi. “The future belongs to tools that feel collaborative, not mechanical.”
Q: What’s next for Fantasy AI?
GEORGI DIMITROV: We’re working on expanding our research tools and improving how users understand the impact of AI in their work. Our next platform update will focus on better transparency and usability. At the end of the day, we want people to see AI as something that empowers them, not something to be afraid of.
