POWERBALL, MEGA MILLIONS, and more: playing WV draw games through iPLAY

iPLAY

West Virginia players have a solid lineup of draw games in West Virginia to choose from, and all of them can be played in-store and online through iPLAY — the West Virginia Lottery’s official, state-regulated digital platform. If you’ve been sticking to in-store tickets, here’s a clear look at what’s available and how online play actually works.

The games you can play through iPLAY

Multi-state games include:

  • POWERBALL©

POWERBALL© draws take place every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday at 10:59 PM ET. You pick five numbers from one to 69 and one red POWERBALL© number from one to 26. The jackpot starts at $20 million and rolls over until there’s a winner. Power Play is an optional add-on that multiplies non-jackpot prizes by 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x, or 10x. Tickets must be purchased before the cut-off time on draw days.

  • MEGA MILLIONS®

MEGA MILLIONS® draws are held every Tuesday and Friday. You select five numbers from one to 70 and one Mega Ball from one to 24. Each $5 ticket now includes the Megaplier automatically — a multiplier of between 2x and 10x that applies to non-jackpot prizes. The jackpot starts at $20 million and grows with each rollover.

  • LOTTO AMERICA©

LOTTO AMERICA© is a multi-state game that draws on Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday. You choose five numbers from one to 52 and one blue Star Ball from one to 10. The All-Star Bonus option multiplies non-jackpot prizes and can be added at the time of purchase. Jackpots are smaller than POWERBALL© or MEGA MILLIONS®, but the odds are more accessible.

  • Millionaire for Life™

Millionaire for Life™ launched in February 2026 and draws daily, seven days a week. You pick five numbers from one to 58 and one Millionaire Ball™ from one to five. Tickets cost $5 per play. The top prize is $1,000,000 a year for life, with a second-tier prize of $100,000 a year for life and seven additional cash prize levels below that.

WVL-specific games include Cash25, Daily 3 and Daily 4. You can also play iNSTANTS through iPLAY.

How to play draw games through iPLAY

To play online, you’ll need a verified iPLAY account, you must be 18 or older, and you must be physically located within West Virginia at the time of purchase. Once you’re set up, you can pick your numbers manually or use Quick Pick, add features like Power Play or All-Star Bonus where available, and check results directly from your account dashboard.

Auto-renewal is available across several draw-based games, including POWERBALL©, MEGA MILLIONS®, LOTTO AMERICA©, and Cash25. This means your entry is placed automatically each draw without having to log back in. For POWERBALL©, MEGA MILLIONS®, and LOTTO AMERICA©, Jackpot Threshold Auto Renewal lets you set a jackpot size that triggers an automatic ticket purchase. You only get entered when the prize reaches a level you’ve decided on yourself.

iPLAY accepts debit/credit card, ACH and PayPal. Smaller prizes are credited directly to your account. Larger prizes follow the state’s standard claim process.

All draw game proceeds — whether bought in-store or through iPLAY — contribute to state-funded programs supporting education, seniors, and tourism across West Virginia.
